Sophia Sinclair is a London-based Actress and Drama and theatre graduate. She is also a trained dancer and previous member of the RADA Youth Theatre.

Sophia trained in dance from the age of 4 years old starting in Ballet/Tap and decided her path early on. She started working as a professional actress and model in her teens but only started pursuing her acting career full-time in 2006 at the age of 20, after securing the lead role as ‘Carla’ in Angie Le Mar’s sell-out play ‘Do you know where your daughter is?’. (The Soho Theatre, The Hackney Empire Studio, The Albany Empire, Charles Cryer, Bernie Grant Arts Centre, Gilded Balloon- Edinburgh Fringe Festival 2010). The role came as Sophia studied her Drama, Theatre and Performance degree at Roehampton University. This was a role she would play sporadically for 6 years due to popular demand, it toured schools in Lewisham as part of ‘The Beautiful Daughters Project’ and returned from the Edinburgh Fringe Festival with raving 5* reviews. Her CV includes the National Theatre, National Theatre Studio, RADA, Hackney Empire, Soho Theatre,  LIPA, Professor Green and Doritos.

Sophia is now working on completing her showreel and making her name in the world of art & entertainment. She is also a workshop facilitator and drama teacher, regularly working at her former college to lead confidence building workshops with students, giving motivating talks for performing art students and also running school workshops for external companies, including managing challenging behaviour through drama for children before they are removed from the school environment. Sophia’s work as a Teaching Assistant in schools and PRUs (pupil referral units) has allowed her a special insight into the challenges children face and allowed her the opportunity to work on solutions.

After being unrepresented and self-managed for over 10 years, in 2014 Sophia was signed to FLP Global Management. She parted from them in 2015. As of March 2018, Sophia is now represented by Helen Gaston at Stagecraft Management.
